These salmon patties are easy and simple to make. Just grab a ½ cup measuring cup that’s flat (not a tall one) so you can use it as the mold for your salmon cakes. How to Make Air Fryer Salmon Cakes

Heat the air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare the Air Fryer basket.Mix the salmon, breadcrumbs, eggs, and seasonings in a large bowl.Measure out the salmon patties with ½ cup measuring cup. Form the salmon cakes to be no larger than 1" thickness. Add the salmon cakes to the prepared air fryer basket. Spray the tops of the patties and cook for 8 minutes. Open the Air Fryer and flip the patties over, spray the top of the patties, and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Serve with dill sauce or favorite dipping sauce.

NOTE: This recipe was made with a Cosori 5.8 Air Fryer. The time and temp for this air fryer may be a little different than the time and temp needed for your air fryer. All air fryers cook differently and you may need to add or take away a minute or two.

Do I need to remove the bones from canned salmon before using?

Yes, unless you want to eat the bones (at your own risk!) for the extra calcium. The canning process does make the salmon bones softer and easily mashed and edible. I personally prefer to remove them.

Store leftover salmon cakes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

How do I reheat leftover salmon cakes?

To reheat refrigerated salmon cakes, place them in the preheated air fryer and cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 3-5 minutes, or until heated thoroughly.
